Prevent Costly Garage Door Repairs

What can I do to prevent costly repairs to my garage door in the future?

There are several things you can expect. Probably the biggest thing we see is folks don't paint their doors as often as it needs to be painted. So as soon as it looks like it needs to be painted, don't wait until the house needs to be painted. As soon as the garage door needs to be painted, paint the door. Springs and rollers, you'll want to replace as needed when they break. Lubricating them will help. Definitely keep up with the paint. It's the biggest component and the most expensive portion of the door.
