Hundreds of drivers across the Denver metro area will be paying a little more to repair storm damage after this week’s storms.
The shortage of used cars and used car parts makes body work on vehicles more expensive. That applies to cars that were in crashes and those with hail damage.
If you have hail damage, call your insurance company right away. Insurance adjusters offer this advice before getting your vehicle repaired.
•Always get at least two estimates for repairs.
•Make sure your body shop guarantees your work.
•Ask about a procedure called “paintless dent repair” which is less expensive but often more effective.
•Don’t forget some shops offer discounts to senior citizens and military service personnel.
